Boy (Falcon) in Flying Balloon?

The young boy that was thought to be floating away in a homemade helium balloon has been found at home. According to Sheriff Jim Alderden, the boy had been hiding in a cardboard box, which was located above the families garage. Even though the boy’s brother said he believed the brother had gotten into the homemade balloon, it turns out all is well and Falcon is home safe.

In Fort Collins, Colorado a young boy (Falcon) is thought to be trapped in a homemade balloon made by his father (Richard Heene) who is an amateur scientist. The boy is only 6 years old and has been missing since a relative witnessed him leaving the ground in the balloon. The balloon is approximately 5′x20′ in size and is traveling about 30-40 mph. The balloon is flying by way of helium gas and is shaped similar to a flying saucer. At this time there is also a concern that the boy may have fallen out due to a latch that may have come undone. At 12:44 it was confirmed by officials through channel 11 news (Los Angeles) that Falcon was not in the balloon when it touched down.
