Most people know that the teen sensation Justin Bieber, who became a famous superstar before he even finished his teens, found his fame online after uploading videos of his singing talent. However, it seems that his little sister could also be heading for Internet fame, although it won’t be through singing – at least, not for the moment.
Justin’s baby sister is, in fact, just three years old. Jazmyn Bieber has recently opened a Twitter account on the popular micro blogging site. Of course, at her tender age one can only assume that her big brother, who must be an internet expert by now having found his own fame there, helped with the account.
However, just days after the account was opened, the three year old, who incidentally has not tweeted anything as yet, has amassed a whopping 271,000 followers. While this isn’t a patch on the millions of followers her brother has it is pretty impressive for a three year old who hasn’t got anything to say for the moment!
Justin obviously has high hopes that his sister will have something interesting to say soon, as he posted on his own blog: “Follow @jazzykbiebz my Lil sister and watch for her first tweet … jazzy does have swag.”
A trash hauler from Santa Cruz found that he had become famous earlier this week after his performance on the new USA hit talent show, X-Factor, resulted in him becoming a hit online as well as with the judges. The twenty eight year old performed his own song in front of the judges, including ex-American Idol judge Simon Cowell, and made it through the first round of cuts.
After this, Chris Rene found himself trending on Twitter and receiving thousands of hits online as people flocked to see his performance. While he has performed many times in venues close to where he lives, Chris has never experienced exposure like this before.
After his performance in front of the X-Factor USA judges Chris stated: “Seeing the judges and their reactions to my performance was beyond amazing, let me tell you was wild.” He added: “For me to rise up, stand up and represent, I feel like I’ve been chosen to do this. I love it and so proud to be a representative of Santa Cruz, California.”
When it comes to becoming famous the Internet has given budding stars a whole new platform to rely on. These days some people do not even have to go looking for an agent in order to get onto the road of fame – they simply use the internet to its full advantage and let the agents and managers come looking for them.
There is little doubt that, when used in the right way, the Internet can catapult a person to fame no matter what their skill or talent. Of course, you do need to have some sort of plan or strategy in order to maximize on your exposure online – the more exposure you can get the better your chances of becoming famous from your online talents.
It is important to dedicate time and effort to getting your face and talent out there on the World Wide Web. Post as many videos as you can of you performing your talent and try and build a community around yourself to raise awareness of you and your talent.
While it is important to get videos of your talents out there you should not underestimate the power of blogging and networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Make sure that in addition to posting videos and content of yourself online you also make use of these sites to capture an even wider audience. Remember, effectively this is all free promotion as far as you are concerned, so you should make the most of it and use it in your pursuit of becoming famous.
