Most people are well aware of how the big American dream started for the world famous teen star Justin Bieber, who started out singing songs in his bedroom and uploading them online. Well, it now seems that the next Bieber could be ready to rise from the depths of the Internet in the form of fifteen year old Austin Mahone who has already become famous in his own right.

Austin, from San Antonio, has been uploading videos of himself covering a range of well known songs, including some by the boy he is being most compared to – the Bieber – and he is proving a huge hit the world over! In fact, he has already managed to develop a loyal following with millions of fans and hits from around the world.

Mahone said: “I started making videos with my best friend Alex in June of last year.” He added: “I can remember back in June me and Alex would get like ten views a day, and we were so excited. Now in like two days I have like 80,000!”

His is another example of how the right talent and a lot of determination can make a huge difference to the lives of some people who use the internet to their advantage.

A man who has become a self taught drummer after first picking up his drumsticks at the age of just eight has become famous after he decided to show off his drumming skills and talent online. He has managed to clock up an impressive 1.2 million hits and, now aged forty seven, has uploaded almost one hundred videos of his drumming prowess.

Alex Warwick has shown off his talent in videos where he drums to a range of classic songs, including those by Genesis and The Police. His videos have been getting an average of one thousand downloads per day. He has also formed a band with international members who contacted him after seeing his talent online.

He said that fans of the band Genesis, fronted by Phil Collins, loved what his band did with the music and although he and his other band members had only met in person once due to their location, they had still managed to make a huge success of the band and their music by simply uploading via the Internet.
He said: “There are many technical hurdles making a video out of recordings from different countries but the results speak for themselves. Genesis fans love what we do.”

A black cat that manages to act as a nanny for a baby has become famous around the world, being catapulted to stardom in the virtual world after a video was uploaded by its owners in Canada. The video was uploaded by thirty five year old Aaron Grant.

The video shows a little baby crying and restless while the Canadian ‘nanny cat’ sits by the baby’s side with one paw on his forehead in what looks like an effort to get him to sleep. As The cat, Stewie, gently places its paw on the baby’s head the baby appears to be soothed and quickly stops crying and starts to go to sleep.

As the baby falls asleep the cat keeps its paw gently on the forehead before finally leaning in and appearing to give the baby a gentle kiss on the forehead. The video has now been viewed over two millions times in countries around the world.

This is one of many pet videos that has become famous on the web over the past twelve months, with many pets having built up their own fan clubs after videos of them were shown online.
