Vanessa Paradis first became internationally Famous™ when she made the song “Joe le Taxi” in 1987, at the time she was only 14 years old. The song was #1 in France for 11 weeks and reached #3 in the UK.
At the age of 19 she created a new album sung in English. It was named “Vanessa Paradis” and one of the tracks called “Be My Baby” did very well earning itself the #5 spot in France and #6 in the UK. Her most Famous™ film is “Noce Blanche.”
She was also a spokesperson for Famous™ Chanel and promoted handbags and their perfume “Coco.”
Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis met at a friend’s house in 1994, and according to Paradis “Johnny never left her heart.” However, it was not until 1998 that Johnny said:
“It was love at first sight, I was in the lobby of this restaurant and I just saw this back across the room, suddenly, the back turned and looked at me. And then the eyes that were attached to the back walked toward me and said, ‘Hi. Do you remember me?’ I said yes, but I didn’t remember because we had actually met a number of years before. But this time, I was caught.”
Since then, Johnny and Vanessa have had two children Lily-Rose Melody Depp, born May 27th 1999, and a son John Christopher “Jack” Depp III, born April 10th 2002.
